 Welcome! Silver Springs is the name our granddaughters have given our fourteen acres of fields and mountainside. Horses have almost always been a part of our lives and we wanted the girls to experience the pleasure that owning a horse can bring.Although they were still quite young the opportunity to bring home an older Standardbred mare presented itself and so Punchline came to live with us.One thing was missing though, she was alone and all God's creatures need company of their own kind, luck was on our side and a companion was offered for a reasonable price.September 10/2003 World of Miniatures King Too came to Silver Springs to live.Punchline is sixteen hands,King is 32.25 inches(although he doesn't know that) introduction was a challenge. Three months later the bond was firm and everlasting between them.
What good is such a small horse people would ask,and apart from doing a fabulous job of friendship I was wondering too!
Driving is their purpose my cousin said, show him too, he's good to look at, and after much prodding and a good training book King is a pleasure to drive and to show.
